North Beach Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation Training

NORTH BEACH, Wash. - The Grays Harbor County Sheriff's department is investigating a bomb threat at North Beach High School, the School is using this as a training opportunity and evacuating.

County Undersheriff Rick Scott tells us deputies investigated a threatening message written on a chalkboard yesterday afternoon, warning of an explosive device planted somewhere in the school, and featuring derogatory statements about three teachers. School administrators did not evacuate the school yesterday, investigators searched the building and found no explosive devices.

The Sheriff's Department searched the school again this morning with the assistance of the Washington State Patrol's Bomb Squad, and the school plans to evacuate the building today as a training exercise.
