MONTESANO, Wash. - Sheriff's deputies have arrested two men believed to be responsible for multiple East county burglaries over the past month. Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott tells us deputy Kevin Schrader, spotted a suspected vehicle driving into Aberdeen on Sunday morning.
The driver, a 40 year old Central Park man, was taken into custody without incident. A 40 year old Olympia man, who Scott said is known to be living in the area attempted to flee on foot and was also apprehended.
Scott said investigators found some stolen property including a firearm in the vehicle. When they searched the Central Park man's home they found additional weapons along with other stolen property. Evidence links the two to more than 5 burglaries in East county, and a stolen vehicle from Aberdeen that was allegedly used to commit the crimes. The Sheriff commended his deputies for their efforts in coordinating several investigations into the culmination of these arrests.
