Cosmopolis, WA: President and CEO Frank Anglin of GWP Holdings LLC has announced the addition of a new Peterbilt store in Cosmopolis, Wash., in Grays Harbor County. The new store will be managed by Corey Daniels, a veteran of the Class 8 truck market with experience in parts, service and truck sales.
Cosmopolis Mayor Vickie Raines said "With the rezoning that the City did a few years ago along the downtown corridor, we had hope for economic growth along Highway 101, but to see what has transpired over the past year has been the beginning of a dream come true. The entrance to Cosmopolis is being transformed and with the addition of Peterbilt, we are anticipating even more developments in 2012 that will benefit the City."
"We are very excited about our new store in Cosmopolis and are thrilled to have Corey Daniels join our team," said Anglin. "Corey’s experience and current customer base will serve us well as we grow and expand into this new territory." "The Cosmopolis store is ideally located on State Highway 101 to serve both the Olympic Peninsula and Southwest Washington," said Anglin.
"The tremendous growth at the Port of Grays Harbor and several other success stories like Willis Enterprises and neighboring Sierra Pacific Industries and Cosmo Specialty Fibers makes our expansion and growth potential very real and exciting." "We have identified opportunities throughout the entire territory and being in Cosmopolis will allow us to better serve our customers," said Anglin.
The Peterbilt store in Cosmopolis has a 17,000-square-foot service facility (the largest in the region), an emergency drive-through truck bay and a large inventory of parts and accessories.
"I am extremely pleased to be bringing Peterbilt to Grays Harbor County," said Daniels. We will be serving a large customer base from Aberdeen to Port Angeles to Shelton – down to Chehalis and back up through Raymond, with daily part deliveries to all communities in between." "Our presence in the field and hands-on customer service is a very important aspect of our business," said Daniels.
The shop foreman for the service department, Kurt Cole, is another long-time veteran in the service field with more than 26 years of experience. The Cosmopolis Service Department has factory-trained technicians and is a warranty-certified facility, able to serve all of its customers’ Peterbilt needs. New and used truck sales will be managed by Daniels, with several new ‘Red Ovals’ arriving in Grays Harbor soon. Western Peterbilt’s fleet of used inventory throughout the Pacific Northwest will be also be an additional advantage for the Cosmopolis store.
"Our Cosmopolis facility is staffed by the most experienced personnel in the industry and here at Western Peterbilt we will be putting our customers first," said Daniels. "We are extremely pleased to announce that Greg Graham has joined our staff as our new Parts Manager. Greg brings over 16 years of experience and will be managing our Parts Department," said Daniels.
"I would also like to extend our special thanks and appreciation to the City of Cosmopolis and to Mayor Vickie Raines for her leadership and assistance in helping to make this expansion possible," Daniels said. "Her dedication to this effort is greatly appreciated by me, my wife Kellie and all of our staff.
